Thanks to the open source model and adoption of open standards, KNOWAGE can be used as-is or easily included in a third-part application giving it new value with embedded analytics.

KNOWAGE can meet complex requirements as well as the simplest ones, and the customer can decide how to compose his first KNOWAGE instance, modifying the setup in the future if necessary.
With KNOWAGE you can start from two different self-standing modules:
– ENTERPRISE REPORTING, for the production and distribution of pixel-perfect reports, also on a scheduled basis
– SMART INTELLIGENCE, for interactive analysis, starting from data exploration up to the self-service capabilities on multiple data sources for advanced dashboards with mash-up logic
These starter modules can be used alone or in a combined way, sharing all common features such as security and profiling management, catalogues, audit and monitoring components and all functionality for overall lifecycle management of your analytics solution.
Furthermore, the Smart Intelligence module can be enriched by four different plugin that provide additional features such as the usage of Solr indexes with faceted views and full-text search, plot data on a map or produce a spatial view, set KPIs and alarms or embed R/Python code into your analytics solution.
TWO DIFFERENT EDITIONS
The suite is available on two versions. The Community Edition, with the whole set of analytical capabilities, entirely free under an open source licence, is part of the software stack managed by OW2 as SpagoBI always did. The Enterprise Edition, with a commercial offering and some facilities for the administrator, is provided and guaranteed directly from Engineering Group, the leading Italian software and services company.
