Hi Knowage Folks,

Would you be able to advise on how to create a new QBE or Business Model through the Knowage Designer software?

In your last version or SpagoBI v5.x, I have downloaded SpagoBIMeta, follow the SpagoBI Wiki steps but still, I couldn't get it done at the developer mode. The common error I'm facing with is the database schemal problem which literally denies me from creating the model document, not even has the chance to deploy to SpagoBI server!

I'm have migrated to your latest software Knowage recently and therefore seeking your advice/help via this platform. Thankyou!

Dear Ken,

Using Knowage you don't have to use external designer in order to create a new model, you can use a new web designer.

In the following weeks we are going to release a new PDF documentation, but if you want to start to use it you have to ( some tips ):

1) create a new model inside "Business Model catalog"

2) click on "enable meta web"

3) click on "meta web" designer

4) create the model choosing the phisical tables you have to use.
5) create the business model
6) close the designer
7) generate the model
8) go to workspace in order open the model usign QBE.

Sorry but MS Access is not certified and we suggest to use a bdms like MySQL.

Best Regards

Angelo.

Ken,

I would suggest using ETL tools like Talend or Kettle to make a copy of the database from access and load it into Postgres... it will work much better.
