Must I create a data source in every .rptdesign I create?

As per the title? Can I share a data source among multiple reports or do I have to create in every single one? This is because if the data source has changes, we will need to go to every report to update the settings.

Hi xzsummer,

in Birt when you have different reports you need to add the data source to every templates. In this case when this datasource will change, you must change it in every templates.
