http://localhost:8080/knowage not found

Question

Hi, first of all im sorry for my bad english

i cant access http://localhost:8080/knowage after installing knowage. on my laptop, there is no mysql or mariadb external, i only have xampp installed. and i use embedded mariadb from knowage. And tomcat show this:

org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: Protocol handler initialization failed

Dear yasifaana,

catalina.out log showed a "port already in use" error: 8080 port is already used by another application on your system.

This could be the cause of other errors.

Hi,

It did being used by TNSLSNR.EXE when i check cmd. Now I can access knowage.
