Question

Every Time when I attempt to execute the document with the role of "ModelAdmin" , it prompt me the select the role

1. what is the reason behind this from design perprespective  ?
2. is that possible for us to disable this behaviour ?

Hello kstang,

the reason behind this behaviour is that you are executing the report as a user with multiple roles.
Therefore Knowage asks you to choose, among the available ones, wich role you want to use for the current execution.

I am quite sure this user have single role, which is a is with the type "Model Admin" . pls find the screen capture below. And I can reproduce the case in both 8.0.1 and 7.4.10

A cockpit execution . Actually , I think the prompt will be appear on every attempt to execute any kind of document .  Ask me to choice the role

If you open the combobox, you should see a list of roles. Which roles do you see inside it? Only "bisystemadmin" or there are other roles?

in my 8.0.1 ,  I created some new role :

DATA ADMIN - role type "Developer"

REPORT ANALYST - role type "Test"

SUPER ADMIN - role type "Admin"

SYSTEM ADMIN - role type "Model Admin"

USER - role type "User"

in my 7.4.10, it will return all system default role, as I won't create any my role at 7.4.10

What is the status of the document? (Released, development, test...)
