menu config not work as expected for both "An external app" and "A functionality"

Question

An external app have the behaviour changed , before it will not cover the menu on LHS, right now , it will cover the menu on LHS also . 

A functionality will be always shown 404 not found

Can you explain the problem in more detail by giving us more information about it?

Also, what do you mean by LHS?

Firstly , when I declare the menu like this , a external app to http://tomcat.apache.org/ (pls see the image below ) : 

and when I click on menu create , the link http://tomcat.apache.org/ will be open in full page , rather then just use the iframe in right hand side , pls see the image below :

We have not replicated your problem in our test environments. We have fixed some menu misbehavior in the last few days and released Knowage 8.0.2. Update your environment to that version and the problem will likely be solved.

If the problem persists, please let me know so we will investigate further.

tested the new version ,  I think the behaviour same as 8.0.1 .

I will report 2 case in 2 replys below , with the image provided .

the menu with "Menu note content" with "A functionality" -> "Document Browser" -> Reports still show "404 not found" when I click on the menu that created .

and the menu with "Menu node content" "An external app" will always open a new windows when I click on the menu. I think at knowage 7.4.10 should be embedded in the iframe that will be put in right hand side  . Please find the related screen capture below :
