building instructions are available at https://github.com/KnowageLabs/Knowage-Server#build.

As for running, you can configure Tomcat by following these steps https://knowage-suite.readthedocs.io/en/7.4/installation-guide/ka_inst_man_tomcat.html?highlight=tomcat#using-tomcat.
