How to configure a cockpit as a document that can be included in another cockpit or document

Question

I have several cockpits, visible & editable as documents, in document browser.

but when I want to include a document in a cockpit through the dataset configuration interface, no document appears in the list :

Then my question : is there something special to do, to have cockpits/documents to appear in the list, in order to be able to include them in other documents ?

Hi,

When editing a cockpit, from the datasource option you can only import static document (BIRT report, OLAP...)

if you want to navigate through cockpits, I suggest you have a look at cross navigation that works fine for me.

You can pass output/input parameters from a cockpit to another and you get a breadcrumb navigation as you go from one cockpit to another.

So, if I understand, no way to include cockpit documents in another cockpit ?!

Nevertheless, this feature could be interesting to have...

It should be nice to specify it in the documentation, about documents in cockpits, even its written "The Document widget allows to add an external document into the cockpit area"

It's not so clear at first read, perhaps to add this information : "this only works only with external documents, not cockpits documents"...
