I've been getting the following error while building my cockpits: An error occurred while getting associative selections.

I've noticed that this error occurred when I clicked yes on the prompt 'Do you want to save selection of filters' when saving the cockpit with an active filter.

On loading the cockpit again with the active fitler it throws me the error mentioned before.

After saving my cockpit without active filters it works as normal. Is there any way to save the cockpits with active filters while working with multiple tabs and associative selections?

error logs:

Kind regards,

Dear pnkbr,

what kind of selections are you using? Can you explain better your cockpit configuration?

The error occurs when something unexpected appears during the association calculation so it is important to know all the combination that could cause the problem (association between parameters, widget filters, dataset configs and so on).

This information could help us and work on an improvement.

Thank you

Matteo
I have a cockpit with 4 different tabs.
Each tab has it's own datasets and a set of filters.
Each dataset within a tab has fields associated with other datasets but only within each tab.

The tab causing the problem has the following components:
A dataset consisting of around 7 colums(6 attributes and 1 measure)
A single graph.
5 Filters:
1 Selection Filter is of the Radio button type.
    2 Are multi selection dropdowns.

    2 Are Multi value checkboxes.

The problem occurs when:
I check the radio button selection filter here and save the active selection and open the cockpit again.

My guess is that the saved Active Selection is still being used to filter on the other tabs even though are are no associations with it.

Yes, you are right. When you save a cockpit with active selections they are applied when the cockpit is refreshed or reopened.

There is no way to avoid this behaviour but the problem is not on this, the problem is that resulting association has an error.

I think you have some kind of problem in your associations (if you have a EE license you shoud ask our support management), you must solve that issue (trying to remove data that can cause errors) and then retry to save the active selection.
