How to make discovery's colomns clickable for selection

How to make discovery widget's colomns clickable for selection, I used to have that feature but now I don't know what has changed.

I am using Knowage CE 7.1.5

could you specify better your problem? Because while trying to replicate your case if I click on a column value I correctly create a user selection for other widgets while if I click on column header I sort the value of that column.

Hi,

this is the correct behaviour of Discovery Widget. Text fields are considered too long for being selectable with normal selecting logic.

Please try to change the Solr text field type to String.
