What is the difference between the types of Business Classes?

Hi,

I'm trying to understand what Business Models can do and after reading the manual pdf and watching a YouTube video I'm not sure what effect the type of a Business Class has. I can choose between generic, dimension and cube but when I look at the resulting Model in the QbE Editor, it seems the same. The only difference seems to be the icon. What am I missing?

Is there a more detailed documentation of Business Models than the manual pdf somewhere?

Hi,

"Dimension" and "Cube" are concept of an OLAP model, you can specify that a Business Class has the role of a cube or of a dimension but at the moment this information isn't used yet in other engines when you open the generated datamart.
