Unable to create schema with installer

Question

I have installed MySql 8.0, after that when i try to install knowage 6.0 following error comes...

during database management system configuration page of setup..

url : jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/

User : root

passoerd; ****

Error: unable to define schema knowage_ce

Comments

You need to grant the user priviledges. Do a search on "mysql grant all privileges"
