how to use jasperReportingengine under knowage?

Hello, am trying to integrate jasper reports under knowage, since several days, but i couldnt do it, all the document through the web are referring to the birt reporting engine, please can anyone help me  with this point !!

Hi,

- First of all you need to create a document with a jasper tool like TIBCO JasperSoft and generate a report_file.jrxml file.

- then go to knowage create new document and select jasper engine and save.

- after you save, in document settings go to history and upload your  report_file.jrxml and it will work fine;

 if it doesn't work you need to check your datasource settings.

I created the document and i prepared the file.jrxml, how to upload it

Hello, 

After you create a document in knowage and save it, new tabs will be added to the menu History is one of them (1) in the image above. 

Then you click on  browse and upload your .jrxml file and save.

May i ask you which knowage version you are using, because am using the 6.2.1:

to create the document i went to the workspace then

-  i chose ' generic document'

-after that i create the document and save it.

-when i click to edit the document i don't have the same menu as u showed.

Actually i am using Knowage CE 7.1.5, and i dont know if we have the same menus.

Here are some more details how to go to that menu in my version : 

1- Go to document developement.

2 - Click on your document name.

3 - A toolbar will show up, click on modify icon and the menu i sent to you in earlier answer will display.

If the menus are diffrent (i am not sure if they are) then i am sorry for not helping you.

thank you very much for your help, i have changed the version of knowage i've been use, and now i have the same menu/screen, as your example.

One last thing if you can help me with, is the subreports and its parameter, how to define them.
