How to force password change at first login

Question

I would like to set the system to request a password change from the user when logging into the application for the first time.

Within configuration management I set value to "true" for the "Value check" field for "changepwd.change_first" and also I set value to "true" for field "Active". The Knowage server has been restarted. However, the application does not ask for a password change after logging in.

Can you help me, why?

Hi eva.bartuskova,

Knowage version 7.1.0 is now out of date. The first login password change functionality has been rewritten in subsequent versions. To solve the problem I suggest you to update Knowage to the latest released version.
