HIVE Data source issue

I'm using Knowage CE 7.1.5 on Windows 10(64 bit) and Postgresql.

For olap document, using postgresql takes too long time to get olap result.

So I'm going to use Apache Hive 2 for Olap.

I've configured Apache Hive 2 on my server and everything is okay.

But to connect to Hive Server from Knowage, there is no proper hibernate dialect for it.

Seems Knowage supports Apache hive dialect.

But to connect server, it causes some issues.

So I've checked it.

According to the configuration xml, the dialect for hive is linked to MySQLDialect.

Please send kind answer for this issue.

We are using the MySQL dialect because after our analysis we found that it is the most similar dialect to use for Hive2. In the most recent version of Knowage, we have created the Hive2Dialect dialect which is a specific dialect for Hive2 but is simply an extension of MySQLDialect without modification.

If you are having trouble using the MySQL dialect, can you please send us more information about them so we can handle those behaviors?
