Unable to create a new dashboard in Knowage 7.1

Hey there,

We're evaluating Knowage but in our testing sessions we were unable to create a new dashboard in the application. As per the documentation, there are 2 different pathes to create a new dashboard: as an admin, you navigate through Document Browser and click on the Plus sign to create a new item. And as a User, you should be able to access the Workspace and click on the Analytics tab.

As per our tests: there is no Plus sign on Document Browser as an Admin, and as a User there's no Workspace section on the menu.

Why this is happening?

Are you trying to create cockpit using fresh instance of Tomcat? If yes, you need to create new folder where you will be able to create documents. You can create new folder in side Functionalities management. It is in main menu.

You need to configure the role permissions / authorizations. I've done lots of installations and I noticed that by default, even developer roles does not have permission to create documents
