Is it possible to upgrade from 6.2 to 7.1? How

I would like to upgrade to 7.1 CE from an existing (Ubuntu) installation based on 6.2 CE, preserving all possible configuration (users, datasources, datasets, cockpits).

Is it possible? And, in the affirmative, where can I find a detailed list of the steps I need to follow?

I read it, but I misunderstood it: I thought it was limited to minor version upgrades ... I've seen that all of the scripts are currently available to move up to 7.1
