Editing Value change not reflected in What If After Suppres Empty

Question

In What If Analysis, when data has multiple empty rows and columns and you suppress empty to remove those empty rows and columns.
Editing new values chaneg does not reflect.
For example. i set Product Food to 45 from 4555 . The response will have old value and will not save version as well.
Why?
