Knowage does support chinese, as any other language that can be encoded using UTF-8. 

To enable a new language, the process is the following:

1. Contribute to the internationalization of Knowage through our translation platform: Zanata
2. Once a language has a reasonable amount of translations, we will enable such language in the code base
3. Then, you will be able to use select a new language while using Knowage
