Error editing split chart

Hi,

When I try to edit a split category chart, I get this error in the "chart engine designer" option: 

{"service":"","errors":[{"message":"org.w3c.dom.DOMException: INVALID_CHARACTER_ERR: An invalid or illegal XML character is specified. "}]}

Anyone knows why?
