we have a small mySQL database hosted on AmazonAWS how can we connect to it and develops reports/Dashboard?

how do I need to structure the URL ?Please help!

You can find documentation how create a data source here: https://knowage-suite.readthedocs.io/en/6.3/administrator-guide/configure-data-sources.html

You have to create URL using standard JDBC.
