What Talend Open Source solution I should use? [closed]

Question

The documentation points out, that Knowage needs Talend Open Source for better processing different types of datasources and use complex functions to process the data.

Thing is, that from I do not understand, what TOS I should use, as the homepage lists a couple of tools and at least two tools description seems to fit my requirements:

- import data from different data sources

- join them

- process them (rename columns based on rule sets / regular expressions, add calculations)

Hi,

generally is necessary that the JVM used by Talend and Knowage is the same. For example we use the JVM 8.

Pay attention that since Knowage 6.1 the job deployment (zip under the resources) is just manual.

So, an example of  TOS version useable is the #6.

Unfortunately that still does not answer my question. If you go to https://de.talend.com/products/talend-open-studio/ you will find a couple of tools for free download, all listening to the term "talend open studio":

• Data Integration
• Big Data
• Data Preparation
• ...

So, as I said before: It is not clear what's the correct download here.
