Select data in one widget and update another widget based on selected data

Hi !

I've been struggling to create a widget(line chart) where i can select a date (for example) and after this selection another widget(table) will be updated based on the date i've selected. So far i've successfully configured the datasources and datasets i needed as well as the cockpit itself with some charts.

Is there any step-by-step to achieve this?
