Filters are not saving from the QBE model into the data set

Question

Hi there,

When operating as a user, I have been unable to get the filters that I add in the qbe to save into my data sets. Even when clicking on save, the filters do not persist when I close out of the qbe and return to the same data set from the workspace menu. Is there a special permission setting or process that I need to use to save filters in qbe so that they persist when I return to the same data set?
