Hi,

I want to update the Developer role in which I do not want to give a profile management permission to developer, but he should be able to create the report. Is there any way to do this?

OR

Is there any way to give a permission to bi user, in which user (BIUSER) can create cockpit reports. Right now, a user can only see those reports but not create them in our environment.

Thanks

Hi,

you can let a final user to create cockpit changing the authorization of is role. So for example for the default biuser you can go to "Role management" and in the Authorizations tab enable "Create Documents". Of course you also need to enable "View My Workspace".
In this way the final user will be enabled to create cockpit inside his personal Workspace.

Thank you for responding to my question.

I have followed your instructions and provided a user with both permissions. However, the user cannot create documents. I have attached screenshots for more info.

FYI, we are using the Knowage CE edition.

In the screenshot I see the document browser, the user must access the "Workspace" functionality.

The user already has access to the "Workspace" functionality, but still cannot find the way to create documents from a user account.

Please look inside the "Analysis" section.
Thank You so much, It worked.
