Hi there,

I am wanting to use a metamodel from SpagoBI 5.2 in Knowage 6.2 with an extension of .sbimodel, but when I try to save it and generate it in the business models catalog, I am receiving the following error message:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Impossible to deserialize model [null]

The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

Is there a specific process that I can use to import this .sbimodel into Knowage 6.2? I saw in another question that there was a process potentially being created to do so, has this been completed yet? https://www.knowage-suite.com/qa/31/migration-from-spagobi-to-knowage

Thanks,

Chris

Hi,

did you try to create a new entry in the Business Model Catalogue, save it and then manually upload the .sbimodel file (and save)? After that you will be able to open the old metamodel with the Meta Web.
Hi mcortella,

Thank you for your response! This was the method that I had tried, and received the "impossible to deserialize model" error message. I was able to work around it by building the metamodel from scratch.

Best,

Chris
