problem with using utf-8 (persian character) in dataset and chart creation

Hi

I have created a data source such as below.

and also I'm using MySql 5.6.17 for metadata. My first problem is: the meta data have been saved in foodmart_demo instead of knowage_ce.

And the Second one is: I have used persian (farsi) character in data set and when I create chart, persian characters are shown as "??????" in my chart. how can I enable utf-8 for charts or when I can set this?

Hi Bahar,

regarding your first question, metadata are stored accordingly to the choice you made while installing Knowage. The write default check doesn't affect the Knowage metadata but it tells where to store data cached, in particular cockpit data cached.

Help me to understand the second question, the Knowage dataset preview is correct while the chart is not "translating" the persian characters?

I'm using knowage server 6-1-1 right now.

I tried with 6.2.0 previously but the problem wasn't solved.  

If you need to test, I can share some of data with you.
