How to backup knowage

Hi there,

To backup and restore Knowage is the only requirement to backup the knowage database and tomcat config files? I.E Document templates etc are stored in the database or is there a folder that needs to be backed up too?

Hi,

in general all the documents are stored inside the Knowage metadata database, however some files are stored inside the tomcat resources directories (like file uploaded as datasets). If you want to completely backup your Knowage environment I suggest to make a copy of the tomcat and the database content.
