Why Excel is not included like datasource?

Normally Excel is used to integrate with BI Tools. I think that is necesary to be included, file is not working, date fields are not recognized. Can this be consider in current version?
Environment 6.1.1 or 6.2 RC

Hi,
XLS and CSV are supported as dataset types, so you have to look inside dataset definition and not datasource.

Thanks for your answer, that was the first thing I did. But it would not recognize the dates format. I tested with 6.1, 6.1.1 and 6.2 RC

What format has your date?

The format is yyyy-mm-dd

Did you tried to save it as a CSV file and the select the dateformat as "yyyy-MM-dd" ?
