Knowage Designer, Server Connection Failed

Question

Hi!,

I got this error when connecting to localhost server (knowage CE 6.1). Could you please help me.

The server is using JDK 1.8,

While This Knowage Designer pointing to JDK 1.7  (KnowageReportDesigner.ini). Should I use this ver 1.7 or change to 1.8?

Hi Elizha,

when you create a server connection, the server you're aiming at must be running. 

This means that you have first to log in http://localhost:8080/knowage with the same username/password you're using to set connection and then click on "test connection" on Knowage Designer.
