How to update from previous versions of KNOWAGE

Question

Somehow new, and pioneer in KNOWAGE, I have been using it since it first version and happy to say I have contributed with some improvements. I will like to know how to update to new versions without loosing all my work, and where is all my work stored.

Most of your work is stored in the DB. The remaining part (e.g. File Dataset) are stored in the resources folder of you application server.

To be more specific, please edit you question and provide more detail on which is your actual version and to which version you want to upgrade. Also knowing which are your improvements will help to understand the situation.

Cannot recall at this time, and don't have access (at this specific time) to the Knowage installation, although I can tell it was the very first version as I downloaded it sometime in March or April 2017. I know that since then KNOWAGE have improved enormously and I am looking forward to pick up where I left it and continue.

I will like to upgrade from that version (the first one), to the current CE version, so in that case what to do?

Your help will be very much appreciated. I am connecting to MySQL and running it on a Windows Server Platform. I am to be granted in the next few days access to the VPN and can then provide more details.

I want to update my knowage version 6.1.1 to 6.2 without loosing any report & cockpit.

I am in the same situation. I want to update 6.1.1 to 6.2 because my data sets refuse to load and 6.2 has a fix. How do I upgrade it in Linux without losing existing reports?
