how to create a new tenant in Knowage CE?

Question

I find current demo users are in "Demo" tenant env...I remember SpaboBI version 5.3 provides an admin function to create a new tenant....but I don't find the same function in Knowage CE... pls advice how to make that ? thanks a lot

To create a new Tenant you have to use the Tenant Management functionality included only inside the Enterprise Edition.

I remember SpagoBI 5.2 as well as its previous versions provides Tenant Management functionality orinally, why remove it in 6.0 CE version?  in such case, Knowage 6.0 CE is just a toy version.  we can not play it under a pre-built demo Tenant?       
do it mean we have to be forced to use  Enterprise Edition in formal environment?

Just few administrative functionalities have been moved to the Enterprise Edition, and the Tenant Management is one of them.

If you do not need the pre-built demo Tenant, you can avoid to use it. Just download the released packages from the forge and deploy them in your preferred application server. You will then have a clean tenant that you can use from scatch without pre-built demo contents.

hi, how to create a new tenant manually with CE version if we still want to keep the demo Tenant with demo samples meanwhile.

As already said, tenant management can only be handle through the specific functionality included in the Enterprise Edition.
