Hello,

I have a table in Sql with some data. 2 of my columns are datetime columns in my sql table. But when knowage reads the table they get treated as Strings. Since I want to do some selections based upon certain dateranges I would need them as actual date with times.

Happy for any help.

solved it on my own.

The type in the datasource has to be a measurement and not an attribute.

Than one can select timestamp. Measurements don't seem to support lots of different data types.

This unfortunately generates the following problem than that measurements can only be used as a series which places it always on the y-axis even though time is something which (at least I) need on the x-axes.....
