Hi,

I've built my first cockpit and can view it fine when logged in as an Admin user. I have added it to the menu and made both the cockpit visible to users and made the dataset used an 'Enterprise' dataset. I log in as a standard user, I can see the cockpit listed in the menu (I even, somehow, managed to get it to open automatically after logging in??) and can open it, however, it opens as a blank document. I have the widget button visible and the refresh button available, just none of my objects are visible. Is there something I've done wrong?

Thanks.

OK, so I've done a little more digging. I saw on the Q&A that I may need to change the server.xml file to have the host_url point to the network IP address, not localhost, so did that, that resolved the issue of the widget button showing a square box rather than the three horizontal lines, it did not however resolve the rendering issue.

I think that this is an issue with my permissions and privilege settings, as I can see the cockpit when logged in as biadmin.

If anyone could give me some pointers on what I need to do then that would be brilliant!!

Thanks,

Rob.

Hi,

you need to check that the final user is able to run the documents inside the folder where the cockpit is saved. The folders are defined in the "functionalities management" of the admin menu. For each folder you can specify the users' roles that are able to execute or create documents inside. So you need to check that the final user has one role enabled to execute documents in the folder of the cockpit.
