Cockpit value format not same with DB/Dataset format value

Question

Hi Good Day,

I just aware that the value format of cockpit not same with dataset format.
Dataset value query from database without .0 but after delpoyed to cockpit and show the value with .0.
How to keep the dataset format instead of the addtional value (.0)?

Hi,

    a couple of questions in order to better understand your case:

• Which kind of database are you using?
• Is the query dataset used as cached in cockpit or not?

Anyhow if column type is Number than you can set precision (number of decimal places) and format (decimal separators) among its style options.

Thank you for prompt reply.

• I'm using MySQL db.
• Yes, The query dataset used as cached in cockpit.

It's string type for that columns.

I've unticked the use cache and it's working. But when i apply to another dataset and prompt error as below:

Do i need to raise a new question for this issue? and Knowage log file no record this error.
