Cross Navigation Hyperlink

Question

I have studied Knowage Manual for cross navigation at the section 4.6 on How to create a cross navigation.

But in my case it's not working.

I have also checked example which is on Knowage server (Functionalities-> Analytical documents -> Dynamic Maps -> target document(cross- navigation) -> BestProductSingPar). There is no link for cross-navigation in the example.

Please provide more example on cross navigation and Hyperlink.

Hi Gaurav,

   about the documents that you are using, the cross naviagation is available from the map to the birt report engine and not viceversa (this is the why the report birt hasn't a defined hiperlink ) . Is possible check the cross definition through the 'Cross navigation Definition' GUI.

If you are using the knowage server installed with the demo documents (available at http://forge.ow2.org/project/showfiles.php?group_id=442&release_id=5958), you should find a cross navigation called 'MapToRPTfile'. Here are defined which parameters will be passed with the cross. In this specific case the map document has defined an output parameter called 'STATE_ABBR'.

So, with this GUI isn't necessary to define cross navigation configuration directly into the document templates; except for Birt as you can read at chapter 'Cross Navigation for BIRT Reports' (4.9 of the manual) where is always necessary to define an hyperlink (other the external cross navigation with the apposite gui)
