Engineering and Knowage Labs attended to Strata Data Conference last week as Cloudera Partner Pavilion sponsor. This was the industry’s must-attend event. It welcomed over 2,000 registered attendees for three days of education, product demonstrations, and interactive networking functions.
During these days, KNOWAGE booth hosted different initiatives.
Firstly, KNOWAGE hosted the Cloudera Passport Program. Numerous attendees came to the booth,willing to discover the suite and collect the stamp for their open source passport.
To engage attendees, KNOWAGE proposed them a survey to assess how much value they take out from data. There was also the chance to win an useful gadget and have a chitchat on how KNOWAGE enhances a truly data-driven business.
From a technical point of view, as promised in the previous days through social channels, Knowage Labs officially presented Knowage 6.2 RC with smart selectors and new customization features through live demo. Moreover, video previews were given on the main features of the later September release with faceted and full-text search and new GIS features.
The event was also the chance to present some interesting KNOWAGE uses cases now became Engineering Group products, such as HOMEenergIA (Energy intelligence platform) and DiVE (Digital Virtualization Experience for industry 4.0).
